1. Visit their Glass House.

The Glasshouse is the focal point of Chihuly Garden and Glass. The Glasshouse is a 40-foot-tall glass and steel structure that spans 4,500 square feet of brightly lit space. Chihuly has always had a fondness for conservatories. The sculpture, which spans 100 feet and features a color scheme of reds, oranges, yellows, and amber, is part of the Glasshouse display. It is one of the largest suspended sculptures by Chihuly, composed of several different parts. When the artwork is viewed in natural light and as the day ends and night begins, the impression changes significantly.

Throughout the world, Chihuly has displayed his artwork in botanical gardens; nevertheless, this was the first time he has collaborated with a landscape architect to develop a unique area unmatched by any other garden or exhibition. The unusual plant collection was hand-picked to perfectly go with Chihuly's artwork, and the vibrant hues and shapes of the flowers, plants, and trees provide a rich background for the artwork.
