Dash Point State Park is located on the Puget Sound in western Washington and is a popular destination for water recreation. 3,301 feet of ocean shoreline can be found in this 461-acre campground. The beach offers clear views of Puget Sound and opportunity to experience the sea species there.

The park's sandy beach offers a tranquil beach escape close to the metropolis of Seattle, Tacoma, and Federal Way. You will love this park, serene and a nice place to go with family.

If you come during low tides, you will even see LIVE dungeness crabs and shells around. There are tons of seashells on the beach for the kids to find and rocks for them to throw back in the water.

You may avail a Discover Pass either $10 a day or $30 for an entire yearly pass that gets you into all state parks.

Even in the colder months, if you dress appropriately, Dash Point allows you to fully enjoy and take in everything that nature has to offer. You may even do camping here. You may buy firewood either with their camp host or nearby convenience store to feel you warm during your stay.

This a nice trail and beach combination tucked away in Federal Way! Dogs are allowed on leash as well.

You may even find a beautiful stream to walk along at Dash Point.
