The Museum of Flight is a private non-profit air and space museum in the Seattle metropolitan area. It is located at the southern end of King County International Airport (Boeing Field) in the city of Tukwila, immediately south of Seattle.[5] It was established in 1965 and is fully accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. As the largest private air and space museum in the world, it also hosts large K–12 educational programs.[6]

The museum attracts over 500,000 visitors every year,[2] and also serves more than 140,000 students annually through its onsite programs: a Challenger Learning Center, an Aviation Learning Center, and a summer camp (ACE), as well as outreach programs that travel throughout Washington and Oregon.[7] (SOURCE: WIKIPEDIA).

At the Museum of Flight in Seattle, you may walk the Air Force One's aisle and board the Concorde. It is the largest air and space museum in the world and was constructed around Boeing's original facility. Everything about the history of aviation—including the Wright Brothers, Mars exploration, revolutionary aircraft, and spy planes—can be found here. You can fly over Puget Sound in a simulator, land on the moon, barrel-roll a Mustang, and even take the wheel of the fastest jet in history.
Check ahead of time because some days of the month are free admission.

The Washington Museum of Flight, a popular destination that is great for both adults and kids with an interest in air and space, has been open since 1965 and is close to King County International Airport.

There are numerous activities, events, and exhibits to enjoy at this museum, so you can anticipate both an educational and engaging experience when you go. Every year, some 400,000 people visit this location to take advantage of the numerous educational programs and camps, along with many students.

The first Boeing 747- N7470, is on display. You can see also the first presidential jet, a Boeing VC137B known as SAM970, that was used in presidential fleet from 1959 to 1996. These are only a few of the over 100 aircraft on exhibit.  You can also walk on the planes.

The museum's exhibits and activities are spread across two locations on opposite sides of the street, connected by a pedestrian bridge.

There are numerous displays and demonstrations on historical and current commercial and space aviation endeavors.

The museum also features a café, a play area for children, a sizable gift shop, and free parking.
